High Protein Diet Promotes Cancer

Yet more proof... New scientific study shows high protein diet is a killer!

Latest reports indicate that a high protein diet is one of the most devastating things you can indulge in. It is even considered to boost your cancer risk as much as smoking 20 cigarettes a day! Unfortunately we have been brainwashed into believing that protein, and animal protein in particular, is great for our health.

We are talking about ANIMAL PROTEIN....more about that in a moment.

Too much protein could lead to early death, study says

Washington Post: U.S. and Italian researchers tracked thousands of adults for nearly two decades and found that those who ate a diet high in animal proteins during middle age were four times more likely to die of cancer than contemporaries with low-protein diets -- a risk factor comparable to smoking. They also were several times more likely to die of diabetes, and nearly twice as likely to die in general.
“The great majority of Americans could reduce their protein intake,” said one of the study’s co-authors, Valter Longo, a University of Southern California gerontology professor and director of the school’s Longevity Institute. “The best change would be to lower the daily intake of all proteins, but especially animal-derived proteins.”

High-protein diet 'as bad for health as smoking 20 a day!

Research finds that people who eat diet rich in animal protein carry similar cancer risk to those who smoke 20 cigarettes each day

Eating too much protein could be as dangerous as smoking for middle-aged people, a scientific study has found.
Research which tracked thousands of adults for nearly 20 years found that people who eat a diet rich in animal protein are four times more likely to die of cancer than someone with a low protein diet.
The risk is nearly as high as the danger of developing cancer by smoking 20 cigarettes each day.
Previous studies have shown a link between cancer and red meat, but it is the first time research has measured the risk of death caused by regularly eating too much protein.
The US study found that people with a high protein diet were 74 per cent more likely to die of any cause within the study period than their low-protein counterparts. They were also several times more likely to die of diabetes. But this trend appeared to reverse for those aged over 65, researchers found. Read further:  High-protein diet is a killer says Telegraph

The protein problem is especially acute beyond middle age, when the body perhaps finds it more difficult to digest or cope with. Plus there is less need for protein because the body is no longer growing or needing muscle as a younger body may. As we age we tend to slow down, whereas younger people are often so active that they are using protein to renew muscle etc after exercise and other physical activities.

One theory is based on the fact that pancreatic enzymes are used to defend against cancer cells and make them more accessible to the immune system's killer cells. However, if there is a high intake of animal protein, - which is usually harder to digest, presenting a "heavy duty" workload, - then pancreatic enzymes are all otherwise employed. This means cancer cells potentially escape termination.

Note: Almost all alternative cancer treatment doctors and practitioners (or systems) strictly forbid meat and other animal protein, for this very reason. (And others)

The China Study exposed the dangers of protein long ago...

The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss and Long-term Health

THE CHINA STUDY reveals startling evidence which shows that...

Rats given a specific carcinogen, (aflatixin) and then fed a 20% ANIMAL PROTEIN DIET, will develop cancer 100% of the time...

But feed them a 5% PROTEIN DIET...and they develop no cancer whatsoever! Zilch!!

The above experiments, carried out by the authors of  "The China Study" T. Colin Campbell, PhD and Thomas M. Campbell, followed earlier experiments conducted in India. At first, nobody believed it could be true. But further identical experiments replicated this phenomenon.
Interestingly, the protein in question is from cows milk. (casein) and...vegitable protein has no such harmful effect.

The China Study was a huge study involving a large population, which strongly indicated a very obvious link between animal protein consumption, and cancer risk. Yet this vital knowledge has been attacked by big business and generally ignored by those in power.

Ever since I read The China Study I have limited my intake of animal protein, because the evidence seemed quite clear. ANIMAL PROTEIN HAS A CLEAR AND OBVIOUS LINK TO PROMOTING CANCER. And many subsequent studies appear to support that evidence.
